Name: | Jamie Young |
---|
In his native Tortall, James Brian Young is the naturally gregarious son of the Lioness and her husband, Adam Young. He may lack his sister's magic and his brother's drive, but he's well known and liked at court for his charm and affable nature. His time in the city is rare, however, as Jamie has an ingrained love of the land and is never happier than when he's working it. The vineyards and orchards at Olau flourish under his care, and it's generally acknowledged that the Barony will pass into his hands. Until then, he's content to live a seemingly carefree existence, flirting and smiling his way through life.
That's one part of the story, anyway. Jamie is aware his parents met at the end of the universe. He's aware that elsewhere, in other worlds, he might better be known as the son of the Antichrist -- the grandson of Lucifer. But, with the exception of his early years, he's never been elsewhere, and awareness does not mean understanding. He's spent his whole life steeped in one belief system; to him, his father's tales are myths and legends.
But what happens when the grandson of Lucifer arrives on Earth? One thing is certain: it ought to be interesting.
[Appearance: Jamie is a tall, lanky and attractive lad of 21 years, with messy blonde hair and blue green eyes. He's given to unfortunate facial hair, if only because he considers shaving a waste of time. His smile is wide and ever present, and has a way of dominating his features.
He’s a semi-OC from a AU -- or rather an AU of an AU, in which they never get back to the bar after being locked out (ETA: Shatterverse!Jamie, that is. MM!Jamie has been in the bar all his life) -- and this journal exists solely for entertainment purposes. Please don't sue. Everything Tortall belongs to the lovely Tamora Pierce; likewise, everything Good Omens belongs to Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.]
